When you bring your beloved dog or cat to VPC, we’ll treat them like they were our own, giving them affordable care that protects them from lethal diseases and other health problems.
In addition to spaying and neutering, we provide vaccinations for rabies. We also vaccinate dogs for distemper, hepatitis, canine influenza, parainfluenza, parvovirus, bordetella (kennel cough), and leptospirosis. Cats can be vaccinated to prevent feline leukemia and the FVRCP vaccination immunizes them against three nasty diseases for up to 3 years. Additionally, we can test your cat for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).

When do you see pets?
Spays, neuters, and vaccinations are done M-F by appointment only.
How should I bring my pet?
All pets must enter the building under the direct control of the owner, in the form of LEASH OR CARRIER. All pets respond differently when under stress before or after surgery, therefore for the safety of all pets being transported in a carrier it is required to have ONE PET PER CARRIER. Pet Parents may be required to purchase a cardboard carrier if there is more than one pet in a carrier. We recommend that all traps and wire carriers & cages are covered to help decrease stress.
BACKPACK CARRIERS & ROLLING CARRIERS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

What happens if there is a need for a procedure we didn't discuss?
We strive to keep every owner as informed as possible, but occasionally we come across something that needs treatment, including additional surgery. We will make every attempt to contact you prior to performing any procedures. If our office cannot reach you, your veterinarian will act in the best interest of your pet.
When is surgery performed?
We perform surgery Monday through Friday, and you must make an appointment to do so. Please drop your pet off at 8:15 am. Leave your dog in the car until advised to bring him/her into the office.
When will I be charged?
Fees must be paid at the time of pick-up. We do not accept personal checks, so make sure you have cash or a bank card with you.
I've been told pets need to fast before surgery. How far ahead should I stop feeding them?
Fasting won’t be necessary for your pet. If your pet usually has a breakfast, you may give them up to ¼ of their usual amount.
